Description:

Harness is a fast-growing company transforming software delivery by leveraging AI to improve the developer experience globally. The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the AI Developer Assistant product team, focusing on building a Generative AI-powered agent that automates developer tasks such as test case generation and automation. This role involves designing and implementing features, integrating AI and cloud services like Google Vertex AI, Azure, AWS, and OpenAI, and collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and machine learning experts.

You will build scalable AI services with agentic architecture using prompt engineering to maximize the potential of LLM models. The role offers exciting opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge AI and cloud integrations within a highly dynamic, innovative environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 3+ years backend development experience
• Proficient in Python with working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience building and deploying RestAPIs and RPC services
• Experience with data modeling and databases (NoSQL and SQL systems)
• Experience working on AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Familiarity with generative AI, prompt engineering, browser automation tools a plus
• Excellent team collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
